Teams of Cope people have been attending three days of training at DSM Engineering Plastic Products, Inc. (Polymer Corporation) for the last several years.

The training updates and formalizes the lessons learned in the field. Our SOLUTIONS philosophy requires a significant investment in training and resources. We will continue to lead the industry in providing practical and cost effective SOLUTIONS to the daily operational challenges of our customer partners.

Training & experience enable Cope Plastics salespeople to identify those situations where metal parts have been specified but performance plastics are better suited. Plastics are increasingly being used to replace bronze, stainless steel, aluminum and ceramics. The most popular reasons for switching to plastics include: longer part life, elimination of lubrication, reduced wear on mating parts, faster operation of equipment / line speeds, improved equipment efficiency so less power is required, corrosion resistance, inertness, weight reduction, and noise reduction.
