UHMW

Ultra High Molecular Weight (UHMW) Polyethylene combines a low coefficient of friction with excellent abrasion resistance to excel in a wide variety of sliding applications. UHMW is chemically inert, absorbs virtually no moisture, and can be machined very easily.

UHMW is unbreakable even at extremely low temperatures, and is FDA and USDA compliant. Various fillers can be utilized to increase the wear resistance and surface lubricity of the material.

Reprocessed: Similar to virgin, non-FDA
Oil Filled: Lower coefficient of friction
Dry Lubricant Filled: Internally lubricated
Glass bead filled: Improved material flow
UV Stabilized: Improved weatherability
