Cope's Strategic / Business Development Team is Growing in 2018

 Cope's Strategic / Business Development Group is growing to enhance its efforts to support the company's goals for 2018. The following Cope employees have joined the team this year:

Joe Zarobsky has accepted the position of Strategic Account Executive.  Joe comes to us from the Louisville branch, where he has worked in Outside Sales.  Joe brings excellent Technical and Sales skills, and will concentrate on the Eastern part of the country.  He will also maintain his sales responsibilities for several current large customers that are serviced by the Louisville branch.  Joe will report directly to John Thiel, Director of Sales-Engineered Plastics.

Mike Bonin has been working with the Strategic Group in a limited capacity for several months, and now comes aboard full time as a Strategic Account Executive.  Mike has been instrumental in the growth of the Cope Outrigger Pad program, as well as the Oklahoma City branch.  Mike has a proven track record of generating new business opportunities, and will be focused on the Southwest, including Texas and Colorado.  He will also maintain his sales responsibilities for several current large customers that are serviced by the Oklahoma City branch.  Mike will report to Jon Gregory, Director of Strategic Accounts.

John Turner will continue in his role as Market Manager-Engineered Plastics, and will now have a large role with the Strategic Group.  John has tremendous experience and a unique set of skills that will enable him to drive initiatives ranging from manufacturing options to special material vendors.  These projects will support the growth of Cope Plastics in both fabricated parts and distribution items in areas not currently within branch territories. He will also continue to be a key part of our lead pursuit and growth of our Prime Advantage customers. John will report to John Thiel, Director of Sales-Engineered Plastics.

Theresa Walker joins the Business Development group as a Senior Strategic Account Manager, and will be heavily involved in new business opportunities both East and West.  Theresa will continue to work from the Memphis branch, where she has been responsible for day to day branch business as well as handling several large accounts.  Theresa brings a tremendous understanding of Fabrication and the Cope system, as well as excellent knowledge of materials and the Plastics Industry.  Theresa will report to Alicia Stalcup, Business Development Inside Manager.
