Jama (“Jay-muh”) is Cope’s resident tree hugger, trash talker, and go-to for all recycling-related requests. Her role is to implement customized recycling programs for our customers across the country to keep plastics out of landfills and repurpose them back into the product stream. She also works to improve our internal process of sorting scrap generated by our fabrication department and at many branch locations. Jama is passionate about preserving the environment and learning something new every day. Her dream is to buy a few acres of wooded land, grow her own vegetables, and run everything on solar, wind, and water power. In her free time, Jama enjoys planning parties, rocking out at concerts, practicing yoga, and leading local improvement activities through the Junior League of Greater Alton and Riverbender Community Center.
