Cope Presented with Caterpillar SQEP Silver Certification

For the ninth consecutive year, Cope Plastics, Inc. is proud to be re-certified by the Caterpillar Supplier Quality Excellence Process (SQEP).

On September 9, representatives from Caterpillar Inc. visited Cope’s corporate facility in Alton, IL to present their team with the Silver SQEP plaque to add to their existing milestones, which are always prominently on display.

Caterpillar created the certification program to recognize suppliers who demonstrate commitment to excellent process control, a desire for continuous improvement, and drive a zero-defects culture within their organizations. Suppliers are certified by meeting or exceeding stringent performance standards, including product quality and on time delivery.

Cope Plastics has been Caterpillar’s premier plastics supplier for five decades and received their first SQEP certification in 2011. They are pleased to continue their partnership with Caterpillar at this prestigious level. Cope has been committed to quality and continuously exceeding customer expectations for over 70 years.
