GODFREY – Jane Saale, president and CEO of Cope Plastics Inc., was one of three Metro East women recognized by the Winning Women organization at the third annual awards dinner at the St. Louis History Museum.
“Winning Women recognized another remarkable group of women from the Metro East, the city of St. Louis, St. Louis County and St. Charles County for their many contributions, which have helped advance economic growth in the bi-state region,” said Michelle Esswein, founder, president and chief executive officer of Winning Women.
Saale was the Metro East winner in the woman executive category, earning recognition for her accomplishments as president and CEO of Cope Plastics Inc. During her first four years at the helm of Cope Plastics, Saale helped the business achieve double-digit revenue growth, despite the economic downturn, and worked to expand the company to 17 locations in 13 states.
Under her direction, the company employs a new corporate philosophy focused on family, loyalty, honesty, respect and freedom. The company’s more than 320 employees also benefit from a company-wide gain-sharing program.
