ACM

Aluminum Composite Material (ACM)

Aluminum Composite Material (ACM), is a flat, rigid panel consisting of two pre-pained aluminum sheets bonded to a thermoplastic core. This unique combination allows for exceptional printing, engraving, and machining options in a lightweight product.

Aluminum composite material panels can be effortlessly bent, glued, digital printed, painted, laser engraved, vinyl-lettered, and silk-screened. While ideal for signage, ACM sheets are also easy to fabricate, form, and fold to suit a large range of uses, including industrial applications. See how Cope’s plastics experts helped a customer save time and expense by utilizing  ACM for truck control panels.

ACM is rust-proof, more economical, and lighter weight when compared to stainless steel. Sound-dampening and self-extinguishing, it can be creatively implemented in architectural design. Weather, stain, chemical, and corrosive-resistant, aluminum composite material sheets are rated for up to 10-15 years of outdoor use, making it great for displays, exhibits, and point-of-purchase.

Most commonly found in matte or gloss white, ACM panels are available in brushed aluminum as well as a variety of colors and finishes. Recyclable and film-masked for protection during storage, transit, and installation, the possibilities for ACM are endless.
