20 Years of Giving Back: Cope Plastics’ Annual Charity Golf Tournament

Over the past two decades, Cope Plastics’ Annual Charity Golf Tournament has united employees, customers, partners, and friends in support of a shared purpose of giving back to the communities that surround us. Now celebrating its 20th year, the tournament has grown into a special Cope tradition that combines a day of fun and connection with the opportunity to make a meaningful difference. 

Since its start in 2006, the tournament has helped raise more than $175,000 for Friends of Kids with Cancer, supporting children and families facing childhood cancer. This year, we’re proud to continue that partnership as tournament proceeds will once again benefit Friends of Kids with Cancer. 

But giving back doesn’t stop there. Throughout the day, the tournament will feature games and activities that benefit three additional local organizations chosen by our employees: 5As Animal Shelter, Riverbend Family Ministries, and Overnight Warming Locations. From helping animals find loving homes to providing support and warmth to people in need, these organizations make a meaningful impact in our communities, and we’re excited to support their work as part of this year’s tournament. 

As we celebrate the 20th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on October 24, we’re especially excited to bring our Cope community together. We’re grateful to everyone who has helped make this event possible over the past two decades and look forward to making this year’s tournament one to remember.
