PEEK

Polyetheretherketone (PEEK)

PEEK (Polyetheretherketone) is a high temperature wear material with outstanding chemical resistance. Its inherent wear and abrasion resistance and high strength make it an ideal material for corrosive and demanding environments. PEEK also has great resistance to steam and hot water, and can operate in temperatures to 480ºF. PEEK stock shapes can be produced by utilizing extrusion, injection molding, or compression molding methods. It can also be filled with a variety of materials to enhance its performance.

Formulations: PEEK Unfilled: Wear and chemical resistnace. Carbon reinforced: – Greater strength and wear resistance. Bearing grade: Internally lubricated – Improved PV limits and wear rates. Glass filled: – Higher strength and rigidity.
