            Polyetherimide (PEI)

            Ultem® (Polyetherimide) is a semi-transparent material offering high strength at elevated temperatures. It has excellent resistance to acids and steam, and can operate in temperatures up to 390ºF. Ultem® is also flame retardant and is a superior electrical insulator. Ultem® is extruded in unfilled and glass reinforced formulations for increased strength and stability.
