            Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS)

            PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide) offers excellent chemical resistance combined with high strength. Below 400ºF there are no known solvents for PPS. Its low moisture absorption and thermal stability make PPS a great choice for close tolerance parts in demanding environments. PPS stock shapes can be produced utilizing both extrusion and compression molding processes. It can also be filled with a variety of materials to enhance performance capabilities.

            Formulations: Unfilled: Chemical resistance, strength. Solid Fiber Filled: Enhanced bearing and wear capabilities. Bearing Grade: Internally lubricated – Improved wear rates and PV limits. Glass Filled: Increased strength and rigidity.
